 »Utopia«, acrylics on canvas, 2007-2008 Yves Beaumont thoughtfully explores the relations between reality, ladscape, and imagination, between what is represented and the image that takes form on the carrier. The recognisability remains present to a greater or lesser degree, but the sketched or painted image becomes an autonomical, sensual entity.
